History of The international University of Humanities and technology
The international humanitarian and technical University was registered on 08.04.1998 by the limited liability partnership South Kazakhstan University (certificate 8046-1958-LLP).
In 2003 the Russian defense Ministry and the MES, as one of the founders, was signed the contract on creation of joint venture with participation of the Moscow state open University (MGOU, Moscow, Russia). As a result, in 2003, the South Kazakhstan humanitarian University was transferred to the international humanitarian and technical University (MSTU, Kazakhstan, Shymkent), which in 2003 was licensed and certified in the MES of Kazakhstan (No. 000364, order No. 315).
The University underwent institutional accreditation from may 21, 2018 to may 21, 2020.
Due to the accession of the regional innovation Institute to The international humanitarian and technical University from the Regional social innovation University, the University is one of the largest universities in the southern region.
The educational institution is headed by the founders of the University, such as academician M. Zhurinov and honored coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor G. onalbek.
Currently, the University rector position is A. S. Eidinow.
The University expands educational services through the introduction of new learning technologies and expanding the base of scientific research, providing high-quality education. Graduates of the University have free competition in the labor market and employment, work in leading educational institutions of Kazakhstan and foreign countries. The history of the establishment and development of the institution takes about 20 years.
Currently, the international humanitarian and technical University (state license AB No. 0137473 and the University code-137) trains professional specialists of educational institutions, industrial enterprises, research and cultural and social institutions and has moved to a two-level system: 24 bachelor’s degree and 6 master’s degree.
International humanitarian and technical University is one of the leading educational institutions of international level, introducing innovative methods and technologies in the training of specialists who meet modern requirements and deliver advanced tasks of innovative development of education and science.
In the framework of the state program of education development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2011 – 2020, approved by presidential decree of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 29 November 2010 № 1113, in order to implement the state program of education development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2011-2020, approved by presidential decree of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 29 November 2010 № 1113, in order to implement the state program of education development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2011-2020, the education System is conducted in three languages (Kazakh, Russian, English) using the latest technologies. In the composition of professors and teachers 60% – academics, doctors and candidates of Sciences, associate professors and professors. The University has 6 professors-teachers doctor of science, Professor Ph. D. onalbek-2013, Ph. D., associate Professor E. I. Kystaubaev-2014, Ph. D., associate Professor Zhylysbaeva-2009,2015, Ph. D., associate Professor Uskenov-2009, Ph. D., Professor khalila-2008, Ph. D. Kylyshbaeva-2009, Ph. D., associate Professor Kydyrbaeva E.-2018 winner of the grant of the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan “the Best teacher of the University”.
Currently, the University has 5 faculties, 9 departments and the Department of military training. Graduate bachelors with higher education in 24 specialties and masters in 6 specialties. Well-equipped material and technical base of the University, the University has 6 academic buildings. The buildings include a student dormitory, a medical center, a dining room, a library, a sports hall and an Assembly hall.
The University provides benefits for orphans – from 20% to 100%, large families-30%, holders of the sign “Altyn belgi” – 25%, in the direction of the akim of the region-100%, with a full one-time tuition fee-10%, from 100 to 90-100 points-10%, over 100 points-20%.
The University trained the winners of the Universiade 2017 in the form of freestyle acrobatics T. Inkarbek, 3-time world champion in hand-to-hand combat A. Ospanov, the winners of the 2018 Asian games R. Emelyanov, T. Emelyanov, T. Haidarov, I. Golendov, O. Ananchenko, etc.
International cooperation is developing dynamically in the main directions in accordance with the main objective of the Bologna process.
Graduates of MSTU have high professional qualifications, able to quickly adapt to changing conditions in the labor market, and therefore at a high level of employment.
The main direction of MSTU is the disclosure, development, self-improvement of personal potential, ensuring the advanced positioning of the University at the national and international levels.
